Regional Medical Officer – Eastern Region

What attracted me to LIFE is its founding philosophy of aging gracefully in place. I believe it takes a village to keep an elder safe at home. My favorite part of my job is interacting with participants. I value the opportunity to care for them, as I learn so much from their experiences, which makes me a better physician and person.

Dr. Luz Ramos earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of the East Philippines and her Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from George Washington University. She completed her internal medicine residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ and her geriatric medicine fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. She is a faculty member for the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care (AMDA) and an active member of the Pennsylvania chapter of the AMDA. Dr. Ramos loves to travel—she was born and raised in the Philippines and still has family there, exploring foods from around the world, and spending time with her family.
