InnovAge Recertified as a Great Place to Work

InnovAge Recertified as a Great Place to Work

Providing a positive and fulfilling work culture for our team is one of my top priorities. It’s a consistent focus within our company and something we measure each year through the Great Place to Work program. That’s why I’m pleased that InnovAge has earned recertification as a Great Place to Work for the fourth year in a row. It’s a reflection of the strength, camaraderie, and pride of the entire InnovAge team.

All of us at InnovAge are driven by a deeply meaningful mission and purpose: to help frail seniors age in their own homes, and on their own terms, through the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly, or PACE (known in Pennsylvania as Living Independently for Elders, or LIFE). This purpose, combined with an environment of respect and trust, creates a strong culture for the benefit of our staff, participants, and caregivers.

You can see this strength in our Great Place to Work survey results. Our staff gave very high marks to their experience in several key areas:
  • Feeling good about the ways we contribute to the community (83%)
  • Feeling that they make a difference on an individual level (82%)
  • Being given a lot of responsibility (86%)
  • Being made to feel welcome at InnovAge (82%)
  • Having a physically safe place to work (89%)
On this last point about workplace safety, a separate survey of PACE | LIFE center staff about reopening our centers also showed positive results. With a response rate of nearly 70%, almost all center staff said they understood the COVID-19 prevention and control measures in place at their workplace. Additionally, 95% said they felt appropriate safety measures would be in place upon their return to work in the centers.

Our commitment to transparency and increased communication in the face of the pandemic has fortified our culture and helped InnovAge continue to grow and thrive. Our team is stronger than ever, and our participants report a high level of satisfaction with their care as a result.

Our company culture honors our staff and participants both as individuals and as important contributors to the overall InnovAge family. Our team fosters this positive work environment in how they deliver care and support each other. I’m extremely proud to work alongside such a capable and committed team in elevating senior care in all our markets.
