I was a caregiver for my mom for many years. Like many adult children, I watched a very independent woman lose her control in many ways. My role then was to help her put those pieces back in place, and to help her live out her life on her terms. Now, at InnovAge, I get to do that for thousands of seniors around the country. I couldn’t be more proud of the work we are doing every single day.

Maureen Hewitt is president and chief executive officer of InnovAge and has served in this role since 2006. Previously, Hewitt led for-profit and nonprofit health care organizations for more than 25 years, including skilled nursing/sub-acute care facilities, acute care and rehabilitation hospitals. Maureen received her bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and her master’s degree from Wayne State University.

Kathleen Bennett

I am fortunate in that my parents were able to age in their home and manage their own healthcare, but this isn’t the norm. Caring for an elder is difficult, complex and time-consuming. The value that InnovAge provides is immediately understandable, and I am proud to be part of the effort to help seniors age in place.

Kathleen Bennett joined the InnovAge team in 2014 and leads the development, support and governance of InnovAge information systems, corporate data and technology infrastructure. Prior to joining InnovAge, Kathleen was Chief Information Officer for the health plan at Boston Medical Center and was vice president of information technology for insurance operations at Geisinger Health System. Kathleen has a master’s degree in computer science from Boston University.

I am privileged to work with the passionate and committed employees at InnovAge. I am personally fulfilled through the opportunity to make a difference and to know that programs like InnovAge are available for my loved ones and me when the circumstances of aging present challenges to our health.

Gina DeBlassie leads InnovAge operations in the central region, including PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly), InnovAge Home Care and Home Health. She has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare operations and finance. Gina earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.

Barb Gutierrez

Growing up in a small town, I was fortunate to be very near to my grandparents. My grandmother lived with our family, so I spent lots of time with her and her friends regularly. Through the years, I developed a real fondness of the elderly and an appreciation for the challenges of aging. I am proud of the extraordinary care and support we provide our participants.

Barbara has more than 30 years of experience in executive and financial leadership roles. She has worked in various industries, including higher education and energy services and has a deep background in healthcare organizations. Prior to joining InnovAge, Barbara served as chief financial officer and chief people services officer for Hero DVO, LLC, a practice management group focused on delivering efficient, quality dental and vision care to children in underserved communities. Previously, Barbara has served in senior leadership roles with Strad Energy Services, Jones Knowledge Group, PhyCor and HealthOne. She has special expertise with high growth companies, and has led transformational business initiatives and strategic acquisitions.
Barbara is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting (magna cum laude) from the University of Denver. She serves on the advisory board for the university’s School of Accountancy.

Lisa Price, MD

I have always enjoyed being around older people, starting with my grandparents and their friends. When I was in my training and choosing a specialty, geriatrics was a natural choice.  I love tailoring evidence-based medicine to improve function and meet the goals of a particular patient. The interdisciplinary approach of PACE magnifies anything that I could deliver on my own as a single provider.

Lisa Price, MD, joined the InnovAge team in 2012. She is responsible for primary care, quality, pharmacy, dental and coding programs. Lisa was a private practice geriatrician for 11 years and served in many leadership roles with Physician Health Partners (PHP), a managed care organization and Primary Physician Partners (PPP) an IPA. Before joining InnovAge, she worked at the University of Colorado - Anschutz Medical Campus as the Director of Quality in the Hospital Medicine Group. Prior to becoming Chief Medical Officer, Lisa was InnovAge’s Chief Quality Officer. Lisa is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics and has expertise in managed care, electronic health records, quality improvement, and geriatrics. Lisa served on the Board of Dominican Sister’s Homecare Agency, and volunteers at her children’s schools. She is a clinical faculty member of the University of Colorado, training medical students and residents about quality improvement and administrative medicine.  She also serves on the Medical Board of the University of Colorado. Lisa served her Residency and Fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She attended medical school at the University of Iowa and received her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University.

Denise Triba

I grew up spending a lot of time with my grandparents. I was blessed to have that time. Through the years, I experienced firsthand their journey with aging, Alzheimer’s, and diabetes. For me, there is a strong purpose in helping our loved ones age with dignity. 

Denise Triba joined the InnovAge team in 2016. She leads human resources strategies across all InnovAge business units and locations. With more than 20 years’ experience in human resources, she has served in senior leadership positions in a variety of healthcare organizations. Denise has worked for Centura Health, Vail Valley Medical Center and University of Nebraska Medical Center as well as non-healthcare for-profit organizations. Denise received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Creighton University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in organizational learning, performance and change at Colorado State University.

Vanessa Walton

For me, working in healthcare is part of my DNA, going back to my Candy Striper days volunteering at Fitzsimons Army Hospital many years ago. Making a difference in people’s lives, however small, gives me joy!

Vanessa Walton joined the InnovAge team in 2011 and is responsible for direction and management of legal, compliance, government and legislative affairs, as well as overseeing various transactions to support growth of the company. She has more than 25 years of legal experience and specializes in healthcare, compliance, regulatory, corporate transactions, litigation and governance matters. Vanessa is a member of the Colorado Women’s Bar Association, American Health Lawyer’s Association, Association of Corporate Counsel and the American Bar Association. Vanessa earned her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and her juris doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law.

Robin Doerr

It is incredibly gratifying to do work that supports a population that is often overlooked, yet deserves to be heard. I am very proud and humbled to be able to learn and share with the greater community the unique and rich life experiences of the people we serve. 

Robin Doerr joined the InnovAge team in 2014. Robin directs the company’s sales and marketing efforts, including sales activity associated with national account development and field sales, as well as branding, advertising, public relations and digital communications. Robin has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience across multiple industries with for-profit and nonprofit organizations, serving in various leadership capacities, including strategic planning, brand identity development, marketing, communications, public relations, retail management, product development, sales, operations, new business development and government affairs. Robin earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin.

Beverley Dahan

I love what InnovAge is able to do to maintain and stablize families. Caregivers are pulled in so many directions; it's fulfilling to be able to help take care of their older loved ones so they can return to their primary role as son or daughter.

Beverley Dahan joined InnovAge in 2007 and is responsible for building relationships with state legislatures, congressional delegations and other government officials using contracted lobbyists. She also conducts demographic analyses to assess areas for PACE growth. Prior to coming to InnovAge, Beverley worked as an epidemiologist and manager with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and as a program manager with Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing. She also served as secretary for Jefferson County Board of Public Health, and is currently a member of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee, Housing Colorado Legislative Committee and LeadingAge Legislative Task Force. Beverley received her bachelor’s degree in political science and public administration from the University of Colorado.

Lori Rothwell

I am committed to ensuring that the rights of vulnerable older adults are upheld and that their voice is heard in the delivery of healthcare. My work at InnovAge, and other professional experience, has allowed me to further this commitment for almost 30 years.

Lori Rothwell joined the InnovAge team in 1994. Lori ensures compliance with regulations across InnovAge PACE, Home Care and Home Health business lines. She develops and implements internal auditing and monitoring procedures, policies and compliance-related staff training programs. Lori has over 35 years of experience in acute and long-term care, including working extensively in the fields of quality improvement for health care organizations and regulatory compliance for PACE. Lori is a member of the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing PACE Advisory Committee. She received her bachelor’s degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix.
